Lapazul is a one-of-kind retreat center. From the minute you arrive at the center to the minute you leave you experience heaven on earth. The breath-taking view will draw you back time and time again. There is nothing like it. Even the local people pause to pay homage to nature as the sun disappears on the horizon bidding good-bye to one more day in paradise.
Lapazul is a high-end retreat center being built to offer unforgettable experiential retreats for groups of 8 to 12. It was designed for your comfort and enjoyment and to take full advantage of the view. The spacious rooms have high ceilings, deluxe bathrooms and an ocean view which you can take advantage of sitting on your private balcony while you listen to the sounds of nature and reflect on the day’s experiences.

What does it take?
From the moment you arrive, you’ll realize you’ve landed in paradise. It’s different from home. You take in all that is around you – the views, the sounds and yes, even the smells. This change in environment is key to preparing yourself and your clients for what is to come.
Upon arriving you are welcomed with a drink typical to the land as you enjoy the breathtaking view. You notice the aroma coming from the kitchen. Dinner is being served soon. And your senses signal you that new adventures await your palate.
You eye the swimming pool and wish to jump in after a long day flying. You imagine how the cool water would feel upon your skin as it washes away the world you have left behind and prepares you for the adventure you are beginning.
The ideal length of an experiential retreat is 7 days which gives leaders and participants ample time to immerse themselves in the new world around them and allow the proximity to nature to enhance the healing benefits of their experience. Ahh!
Uncomplicated & Unforgettable
Whether you choose to prepare your own meals in our fully equipped outdoor kitchen or having us serve you, Lapazul’s owners and chefs pride themselves in sourcing fresh locally grown food for your meals which are included during your stay (alcohol beverages excluded).
You can find us early in the morning meeting the fishermen of Dominicalito as they come to shore as we create that day’s menu from the day’s catch. And each day local farmers provide us with an amazing assortment of fresh produce. The Costa Rican climate lends itself to year-round fresh fruit and vegetables like bananas, pineapples, yucca, and many tropical fruits. And don’t to forget the world renown Costa Rican coffee. Delicioso!
